GAPscape Urban Art
An artistic series of abstract paintings that metaphorically recounts the history and characteristics of communication. These topics are represent through two artistic elements: forms and materials.
A personal technique was developed over the years, mixing pure pigments andacrylic paste spreading them on a sleek plexiglas surface. Transforming the cultivated analogies and the metaphors created into strokes and colors, exalting the empty spaces (GAP) through empty spaces it is possible to admirethe view (landscape) in the background. The title "GAPscape" is thusa play on words, a neologism to indicate at the same time the artistic and technical idea used.
TIMEscape
Is a socio-political, cultural and anthropological study. This artistic project is a visual diary that reflectsthis historical moment capturing key current events in politics, culture, sport, environment and religion. The artworks arecreated with innovative and personal technique - paintings made with natural pigments on a sleek plexiglas surface. The themes portrayed here cover some of the vital questions defining our epoch varying from human rights, respect and freedom of expression to migrations, new technologies, ecology, etc. Artists, just like philosophers, reflect upon the world, study the nature, ponder about themeaning of the human existence - but instead of using words to express theirconclusions they use images, forms and colours. In the case of "TIMEscape" the source material for each painting is a news paper photography that captures a significant moment or an event of the present. In a multitude of daily information, the artist's choice is like a spotlight that focuses on one Title of the project "TIMEscape" represents the union of topic, artistic technique and philosophy.
